Some common questions folks have when looking to visit the Dollywood area are:

Does Dollywood have an RV campground or campground? No, it does not, despite what you might find on google! Dollywood has two different resorts, Dolly’s Heartsong Lodge and Resort, and Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa. Both locations are great places to stay, but do not include rv campsites, or tent sites.

However, Dollywood DOES have RV parking, if you need to park your rv there while you enjoy an action-packed day of amusement park rides and live entertainment.

What is the trolley service? If you’re traveling in your rv, or just want to take advantage of public transportation, you can take the Pigeon Forge Trolley which runs from Sevierville to Gatlinburg and stops at Dollywood. Many of the campgrounds have trolley stops nearby.

Are the campgrounds open year round? It depends on the campground. Many of the campgrounds are only open March-November. Make sure to visit the campground website for information on seasons and openings.
